Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization.
Our mission is to provide local partners worldwide with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies to reach children in their communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.
Awaken City Church will be participating this year.
Packing a Shoebox for Operation Christmas Child

How you and your family can participate:
- Pick up a shoebox! (Shoe boxes and instructions will be available at Awaken City Church in September, or you can provide your own). Check out the Samaritan’s Purse website for detailed information.
- Shop and gather supplies. Here is a suggested items list. SUGGESTED ITEMS
- Bring your packed box back in October so that we can collect them.
